During his appearance on The Daily Show last night, former president Jimmy Carter told Jon Stewart that…he couldn’t have become president in the current media climate:






President Carter also discussed the controversial meetings he conducted with Hamas leaders earlier this month. “There’s no way in the world that you can have peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians,” Carter explained, “if you won’t talk to half the Palestinians.”
